Naturopathic Medicine

What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct approach to healing that combines both modern scientific knowledge with natural and traditional forms of healing. Naturopathic medicine strives to stimulate the healing power of the body and to treat the underlying root cause of disease. The focus is on providing a holistic approach to healing by promoting health and disease prevention.

Naturopathic Doctors (ND) are primary health care practitioners who complete a 4 year medical program. We are clinically trained in standard medical practices as well as various modalities related to naturopathic medicine. These modalities include Asian medicine and acupuncture, botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, homeopathy, physical medicine and health psychology/counselling. ND's facilitates healing by ensuring any obstacles to cure are addressed in order to arrive at optimal health.
